Of all days to have to do surgery, it had to be the day that Tenth Avenue North was in town and playing at the fair. We had looked forward to them being with us and going to the fair for a while so we were all disappointed that the surgery had to be the same day! Well, Luke wasn't going to let that keep him away! Despite being under general anesthesia for 1 1/2 hours, an incision, a block, and a pin placed in his bone he managed to make it to the fair and the concert too!
